CFA’s goal is to work with youth and their families to develop a generation who are responsible, respectable, law-abiding adults in the community, a generation that is dedicated to making their community a safer place to live for us all.  We also hope to train children into becoming youth ambassadors as role models to help other youth in the community.

Our programs include:
·  Education sessions focused on crime prevention, health awareness, teen drinking, and violence against women. We work in collaboration with other organizations including Hennepin County and Teen Challenge.
·  Jewelry and flower making
·  Exploring employment opportunities for youth
·  Computer and After work activities
·  Photography  and after school tutoring /computer training

In collaboration with families, churches and the community we serve, CFA works with 35 to 40 children annually in Youth Impact programs, and trains youth with the potential for leadership as peer counselors.  All kids interested in the after school program are welcome, with a written consent from their parent(s) /guardians.

                Youth Impact Program

With increasing numbers of children growing up in homes with two working parents or a single working parent, today's families can benefit from the safe, structured learning opportunities like CFA that have our focus on summer youth program activities.  Recognizing that the idleness of summer can lead to poor choices like drugs, alcohol, and crime, Caring for All offers summer programming that provides a healthy and positive alternative. Our programs are geared to keep kids safe, improve academic achievement and help relieve the stresses on today's working families, creating a safe place for kids to come to while also being an active intervention and prevention force in their development.

CFA Youth Impact Programs represent an opportunity for youth to learn and grow through quality youth programs for underserved immigrant children in the Northwest Metro, focused on choices regarding youth's health and safety.  We work with kids/youth from 8 to 18 years old, focused primarily on the immigrant community, but also working with kids from broken homes, single parent families, homeless youth and any children who find shelter in our programs.  One of Caring for All’s greatest strengths is its ability to provide a culturally sensitive and supportive program for immigrant youth to share concerns and struggles.   One thing that is obvious in recent programming is the large generational gap between parents who grew up in their home country, and their children who grew up in the United States.  CFA uses its programs and its connection with the community to work as a mediator between kids and families, working to build bridges across generations that are respectful, supportive, and nurturing of healthy family interactions.
